After completing mbbs from abroad if you want to practice in India, you will have to appear for FMGE , foreign medical Graduate Examination .
By qualifying FMG Exam , the candidates who have studied mbbs in abroad will be enabled to practice in India.
Only those Indians and OCI card holder candidates who have completed their primary medical studies mbbs or equivalent or higher education from a foreign medical Institute will be eligible for appearing in FMGE 2024.
After clearing FMGE , the candidates will have to register for acquiring MCI and then they can pursue 3 years MD or MD course for specialization.
