Yes, those candidate who have done diploma in physiotherapy can do bachelors in physiotherapy.

There are many colleges which offers the lateral entry for Bachelor in physiotherapy. Through lateral entry the diploma in physiotherapy holder candidate can get admission to direct second year of BPT. So it is not the 3rd year it is the 3rd semester of BPT course in which you can directly take admission through lateral entry.

It means regular BPT course is of 4.5 years duration. But if you get admission through lateral entry on the basis of your diploma it will save your one year. As you get the admission in 2nd year duration of the BPT course for lateral entry candidate will be 3.5 years.

The admission process differ from college to college. It may occur directly or through the entrance test.

Usually the institutions which offers the course release the application form. Candidate have to fill the application form. Admission is given to the applied candidate through counseling process.
