Hi Akshat, if you have completed your graduation and looking to change your career into management you can definitely go for CAT. But before doing so, I would suggest you to go through all the specializations of MBA to find which attracts you the most. Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR are the core specialiazations. Prepare well and try to get into the top tier colleges like IIM, MDI, TISS which will help you bag a good package worth about 15-18LPA.
All the best!
Hey Akshat,
You can begin your preparation for CAT. In your city, you will get institutes which help students by telling them what and how should they prepare. Being a biology student you can be slightly behind your batchmates from commerce but once you start working harder, you will surely be able to match their level or even surpass them.
Hello Akshat, Yes, you can go for CAT given that you must hold your bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks if you are a general candidate and 45% if you are SC/ST. There is no age bar for appearing in the CAT exam. But the exam might be a little tough for you given that you studied biology graduation because the questions are technical. You might want to go for CAT coaching.
