Hello devika,

First of all congrats for securing 2k rank in NLU 2019 . As per my knowledge students below 2.5k ranks are eligible for almost all top NLU (it will be little tough if you are from general category) . So you have very high chance of securing good course in 2nd round of counselling else last round counselling is all yours :)

I am assuming you a general candidate (for reserved category it will be much easier) As per previous year cutoff and trends you will definitely get assured seat in tier 2 NLUs Though it will tough for getting seat in top ones still you have hope and you have to wait till last round for getting top colleges .

All the best:)

Hello Devika,

The official cut-off has not been declared by the NLUs yet but we can get a rough estimate of what it could be from previous years' cut-off trends.

With your rank of 2307, it would be difficult for you to get admission into any of the NLUs because if you consider the 2018 cut-off ranks then the lowest rank was 1588 in MNLU Aurangabad.

Your chances of admission in NLUs is difficult because the cut-off is not expected to deviate much from the previous years' cut-off (expected to be below 1500 rank). The cut-off might even ho higher because the number of students appeared in CLAT 2019 were higher than previous year.

I suggest you should look for other private colleges as well.

You can use the below link to predict colleges with your rank-

Hope this helps.

This is the first time that IP university is going to select students based on merit of CLAT so we do not have any previous years' data to make an estimate. However, I can tell you that most of it's seats are reserved for Delhi candidates and people are predicting the cut-off ranks to go to 4000-5000. You can try IPU but keep other options as well.
