Dear Ashwini, if you qualify in NEET and don't register yourself for counseliing process, you lose the opportunity of taking an admission in any Medical college across India. However, this score will be valid for 3 years if you want to take up MBBS abroad. But in India, if you want to join any Medical college, you have to use NEET score of that particular year only. You cannot use NEET score of this year to appear for next year's counselling. There is no process of direct admission for Medical colleges.
