Please kindly mention in your question that which St. Xavier's College you need information about. The one in Mumbai or Kolkata or Ranchi or Goa or Burdwan or Ahmedabad or someplace else?
Also, 71% score for a general candidate is not very good considering you want to get into St. Xavier's College. Their cutoffs are usually high and vary according to the subject of study. Kindly mention the subject that you would want to study at this particular college.
Unless you mention the aforesaid details we won't be able to help much.

yaa i know my percentage was not so good,but i realy want to take admission in st.xaviers college mumbai for bms programe..pls me a suggestion for that
