Dear Palraj, if you have completed MBBS, appeared for NEET PG and then are waiting for counselling,  Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has released the final result and seat allotments of NEET PG 2nd round on April 11th. The 1st round has been completed too. In other words MCC has filled in the MD/MS/MDS seats for the Academic year 2019. If you have applied for NEET PG but havent applied for any medical colleges or counselling, we are sorry but you have to wait until next year and appear for NEET PG again. On the other hand if you want to know how to starr the process of becoming a cardiologist, you have to appear in NEET.  Lets say you cracked NEET in your firsr attempt, you have 9 semesters which are 4 and 1/2 years and then 1 year mandatory Internship. You finish the course and lets say you cracked NEET PG also at first go. It is 3 years for Cardiology.
