Hi, I want to ask that I have ews certificate valid for the year 2021-22 . I am filling NEET 2022 form . So, do I need to renew it for the 2022-23 academic year ? Or I can fill the form without renewing it?

It does not matter for which financial year your EWS certificate is valid but as per the information bulletin of NEET UG 2022 you should only upload the EWS certificate issued on or after January 1st, 2022.

NOTE :--- OBC-NCL and EWS certificates that are to be uploaded in the NEET UG 2022 application form, should have been issued on or after January 1st 2022 according to the latest guidelines of Government of India. In case you fail to upload it (issued on or after January 1st, 2022) at the time of registration then the EWS candidate has to upload a declaration [Declaration in Lieu of Gen-EWS Certificate at (Appendix - IXB) in Information bulletin] to that effect (Reference: No.F.No.20013/01/2018-BC-II) and OBC candidate has to upload a declaration [Declaration in Lieu of OBC-NCL Certificate as per Appendix - XB in Information bulletin] to that effect. For NEET 2022, you need EWS certificate issued on or after 1st January 2022.

If you don't have EWS certificate issued on or after 1st january 2022 then you can fill EWS declaration form and submit it.

Those who don't have OBC ncl / EWS certificate, can still choose obc ncl /EWS as their category by filling and submitting self declaration in the lieu of obc ncl /EWS certificate .  Obc ncl declaration is on the page number 100 and EWS declaration is on page number  97 of neet 2022 information brochure.
