Hi, I want to know can we give jee after joining any institute to get a better institute?
Hello student,
Yes, you can give JEE after joining any institute. This method is called as partial drop. This method is used to safeguard the admission in a good institute that you may have got earlier and then prepare for entrance exams for getting a better institute in that place. This is a risk free solution and it helps students to study and prepare for JEE without any major issue of not securing any college later on. However, there may be some issues such as completing the college academics and giving college end sem exams which can be a hurdle and you may have to focus on them for a while.
Ultimately, the decision is upto you. If you really think that you can do it and secure good ranks in JEE next year with utmost determination, then I recommend you to take a full drop. But if you want to secure and safeguard a college admission in your hand, you can take a partial drop as well.
I hope this helps, All the Best!
Hello,
I hope you are doing fine, Yes can appear in JEE even after taking admission in any institute next year. It is possible to appear for and clear JEE after joining an engineering college (except any IIT or ISM, that would make you ineligible).
However, it will certainly be more difficult than studying at home or joining a coaching institute for one year and then appearing for JEE.
The reason being that your peer group has a big impact on your preparation. Your friends in college will either be having fun or studying their first year courses while you prepare for JEE all alone.
In the first year of college, you will be exposed to a hell lot activities, events and people, which will prove to be a bigger distraction than you may imagine. And trust me, if you haven't prepared for JEE in your 11th and 12th, you're going to need all the time you can get if you plan to get a good rank next year.
If you take a drop for one year, you will find your friend circle also preparing enthusiastically for JEE, which will keep you motivated throughout the year.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
