Hi, i wanted to ask that currently i am in my 3rd sem of college so am i eligible to give the CAT exam this year or next year and if next year so what will be the best time for me to start the exam preparation?

You have not mentioned the course duration of the course you are pursuing. If you are in Final year of your college then you are eligible to appear for CAT exam this year otherwise next year. You can start your preparation from now as 1 year preparation is a decent preparation to perform well in CAT.

Hello,
A candidate must have passed bachelor's degree or must be in the final year of bachelor's degree in any discipline to be eligible for CAT. If you are studying 3 year bachelor's degree than you can apply when you are in your final year of your graduation. If you are studying 4 year bachelor's degree then you can apply for it when you are in 8th semester. Right now you are not eligible to appear. You can start the preparation 10-12 month before the exam.
