Hi. i wanted to ask while filling neet pg 2020 form .i fill in ews category and if I am unable to have the documents by december , can I change the category to open , when the period for making changes will be allotted in the form ?

Dear Ami, you cannot change the Category during the correction window. But 2 months is too long a time for you to not able to receive a Category Certificate. But in General, when Candidates fail to submit their Category certificates, they are considered under General Category. But on the brighter side, if you look at the NBE schedule, the counselling will not begin until March tentatively. So you have approximately 5 months to get yourself EWS certificate. And you do not need to carry your Category certificate to the exam hall. So if you are pretty sure that you fall under EWS category, select EWS and then work towards getting the Certificate.
