Let me pitch in a personal opinion here, if you are good at what you do, you can have a bright future with great packages right after college. You need to know what kind of things are actually taught in both branches, then make a decision. This is a very tough decision, but picking a branch just by looking at what kind of salary you will be getting in the future is not right. There are few other parameters you need to consider like which branch fascinates you, what are you good at, etc., Just consider this and make a decision, you can definitely make a good decision.
