Hey There,

The EWS category is a subcategory of Open Category for Economically weaker people.

For you to be able to get admission in EWS category, your family income should be less than Rs. 8,00,000 per annum, having note more than 5 acres of agriculture land and residential flat area less than 1000 sq.ft.

If any of this criteria is failed to meet, you may not be able to get EWS Category.

Also, this category is for only Open Category people. So if you take admission in Open Category, you can Apply for EWS category.

Take a note that, once you take admission in open category, you may not get the other reservations' benefits if they are valid in your case.
