Hey there,
Hope you are doing great. Yes, before getting admission into medical college, there certain medical tests were done by the university authorities, these include,
1) Blood Test,
2) Urine Test
3) Vision Test
4) ENT Test
5) X - ray for total body
6) Blood Pressure checkup
However, certain colleges does not do any of the tests. Until now, None were rejected from these tests, and also, most probably none will be failed in this test. Even if failed, there won't be any rejection.
Hope it helps!
Hii Joe, as far as the medical checkups are concerned, these are regular tests like related to your eyes, height, weight, blood pressure, and so on just to ensure that you've no serious medical issues to cope with later. It's probably because they need an assurance that the tough task if being a doctor in future poses ni risk over your health anyways. So, not to worry these tests include most of the following simple and quick tests:-
1. Blood test
2. Blood Pressure
3. Eye sight
4. Urine test
5. ENT test for ear nose and throat
6. X-Ray for full body
These are the basic tests and necessities too otherwise that the colleges promote before admission and there are hardly any cases where the students get a rejection. Even if they get, it's for their well being in the long run.
Hope it helps.
Wish you all the best!!
