Hi. Is there any sectional cutoff in RRB JE 2019 CBT stage-I .?

There is cut off for RRB JE CBT stage 1, the total cutoff which will be declared after declaring the revised result on December 20. The stage one cut off is determined after normalizing student’s results, it is calculated out of 75 marks.
Candidates are required to qualify the sectional cut off along with the overall cutoff to qualify the exam. Candidates will be selected by the authority according to the vacancies available and the cutoff marks of CBT 1.
There will be CBT Stage1, CBT Stage 2, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.
Qualifying cut off for different categories are
- For general: 40%
- For OBC: 30%
- For SC: 30%
- For ST: 25%
Eligibility
- Candidate should be Indian National
- Candidate should be of 18 to 33 years of age as on January 1, 2019.
- Candidate should have completed 3 years of BE/BTech from relevant streams.
CBT Stage 1 Exam paper pattern
It is a paper of 100 objective questions, containing 4 sections. The paper is of 100 marks, 1 mark for correct mark and 1/3 rd. mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
The paper is of 90 minutes’ duration.
Mathematics has 30 questions for 30 mark
General Intelligence and Reasoning 25 questions for 25 marks
General Awareness 15 questions for 15 marks
General Science 30 questions for 30 marks
Candidates qualifying stage 1 can write CBT stage 2, pattern for CBT Stage 2 is as follows:
The total is out of 150 and the marking scheme remains the same as CBT 1 for a correct and wrong answer
General Intelligence: 15 questions for 15 marks
Physics & Chemistry: 15 questions for 15 marks
Basics of Computers & Applications: 10 questions for 10 marks
Basics of Environment & Pollution Control: 10 questions for 10 marks
Technical Abilities: 100 questions for 100 marks
Candidates qualifyig CBT stage 2 have to undergo documnet verification and medical examination
- High School Examination Certificate or Equivalent certificate
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Diploma/ Degree Certificate
- Category Certificate
- Income Certificate for Waiving Examination Fee
- Medical Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
- NOC from serving employees/ Ex-Servicemen
- Minority declaration on Non-judicial Stamp Paper
After the document verification is completed, the candidates are called for medical test. Officials will be examining candidates whether they are medically fit to carry out the given duties specified by the officials or not, in thw medical test.
Candidates who are qualified in all these stages are appointed as a Junior Engineer in Railways.
