The documents will be thoroughly checked during the document verification and if a candidate doesn't provide relevant then he/she cannot be entitled for the benefit of which the candidate didn't provide certificate. The candidate has to upload the original documents at the time of registering for the counselling and the counselling conducting authority will verify the documents and will release the merit list. After the seat allotment the candidate has to report at the allotted institute for physical document verification. Thus the documents will be verified twice, first by the counselling authority and second by the institute in which the candidate is allotted a seat. Here is the list of original documents you need to carry along with one set of attested photocopies
If applicable you need to carry the following documents
------- First of All I would like to tell you if you have all the documents with you that are valid and genuine then you don't need to worry about the document verification process.
--------- The verification process is basically conducted by the college authorities. Since a lot of thing are at stake the verification is done strictly in the sense that only students having genuine documents proceed further.
------- As per the information brochure for Maharashtra NEET counseling, certificates / Documents to be brought on the day of document verification. (All the Originals & One set of attested photocopies)
a) Admit card of NEET UG 2021
b) Copy of Online Application Form (Latest) filled on www.mahacet.org
c) NEET-UG 2021 Mark sheet
d) Nationality certificate issued by District Magistrate/Addl. District Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate (Competent Authority for issue of such certificate)/ valid Indian passport /School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as‘Indian’.
e) Domicile Certificate issued by District Magistrate/Metropolitan Magistrate/ Addl. District Magistrate or Competent Authority for issue of such certificate.
f) H.S.C. (or equivalent) examination marksheet
g) SSC (or equivalent) passing certificate (for Date of Birth)
h) Aadhar Card
i) Medical fitness certificate (Annexure - H)
------- If applicable :
j) Caste Certificate
k) Caste Validity Certificate
l) Non Creamy layer Certificate valid upto 31/03/2022 (For DT-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D & OBC including SBC)
m) D1/D2/D3 : Ex-servicemen Certificate /actual service certificate
n) D1/D2 : Domicile of Maharashtra Certificate of Defence person
o) D3 : Transfer certificate and Domicile of other than Maharashtra certificate of parents.
p) Eligibility Certificate for EWS category issued by Competent Authority issued after 31/03/2021
q) MKB : Disputed area certificate, Mother tongue certificate, SSC/HSC from MKB area.
r) For Person with disability (PWD) Candidates - Medical Fitness Certificate of Authorized Medical Board.
s) For Minority Candidates – Refer rule 5.11, 5.12 & 5.13
t) For Orphan - respective certificate from Women and Child Welfare Department
