MBA
Whereas MBA is an ideal degree for students who are interested in business and mangement on a broader scale .This program is more general than MHRM . You will also have the knowledge of banking and finance , business management , marketing , operations etc : as you have all these basic subjects in your first year and then the proper Human resource subjects in the second year . Overall it is a general degree. This course is also available for part time , full time and distance learning .
In MHRM you will learn more advance topics in Human Resouce management.
Regarding placements , it will depend upon your skills and knowledge only , the subjects you studied and your approach towards your work will matter . You will get good placements in both the courses , it is not that you will get more salary package in MHRM than in MBA IN HR . Both the courses are very well updated in terms of subjects , but my suggestion would be ,the more advanced topics you learn the better you will be a professional in a particular field.
Hi,
Both are somewhat alike. MBA HR stands for Masters in Business Administration Human Resources and MHRM stands for Masters in Human Resource Management.
Both are almost similar courses that are offered by various universities and B Schools in India and International Universities. It is always advisable to check the course details and other details of the institute that you are aiming as different institutes have different strengths and legacy of teaching the courses. You should also check the faculties and companies that are visiting the institute for placement opportunities.
MHRM is offered in TISS. You will learn a lot of role of HR in Social context. You have good scope to work in CSR works.
MBA in HR will teach you to learn things which are useful for daily HR works like recruitment/talent acquisition, payroll etc. Since both are similar and have good opportunities, you can choose anyone depends upon your interest.
The placement is mostly focussed on the college you choose to pursue the course. If your college has a strong background of HR courses then placements are definitely going to be good.
Good Luck
