Hi... My brother has scored 97.75 % ,taking the best four subjects. Will he be able to make it to srcc in the first cut-off?

Hello Rikita,

The cut-off of University of Delhi depends on various factors like

1) Your Category i.e. GENERAL,OBC,SC OR ST

2) The Type of Course you choose like English (Hons)

And if you are changing your stream from your graduation onwards for example you have studied science till class 12 and from graduation onwards you are going to take another stream then the deduction in your marks will occur.

SRCC offers many subjects and has really a very high cut-off as compared to other colleges. So I suggest you to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

I hope I was able to clear your query and if you want any other information then you can ask me in the comment section.

Hope you and your brother do well in future.

Hello Rikita,If you can tell the course that you are preferring then it would be easy for me to give you the approximate cut-off. Even though if your brother can't make it through the first cut-off you can wait for the second one also but then you also have to see the no. Of seats available because the seats fill up really fast.If your brother enrolls in the course in the first cut-off other than SRCC and if in the second cut-off he can make it through the cut-off of SRCC then there is a option that one can change his college and go into other by reallocation.I hope I was able to clear your doubts and if you still have any question then you can ask me.Hope you and your brother do well in future.

That's such a great percentage, congratulations while you may not get into srcc in the first cut off for economics honours you have very high chance for bcom hons as last year's first cutoff was 97.75%.

Even if you don't get SRCC you will surely get hindu, hansraj which are equally good colleges.

All the best

Hello.. Thank you for your response. Will it be wise to wait for second cut off list to get into srcc or should we go with Hindu or Hansraj..?

I would advise you to take admission into somw other college first and then shift to SRCC in second cut off, as the seats might get filled in the first cut of itself.
