Dear Anuradha, when you say 'you moved back' were you permanent residents of Hyderabad before moving abroad? Was your daughter born in India or abroad? Has she at all studied in India? These are the questions we need answers from you so as to help you. And please also do let us know if its for JEE that you are talking about.

Hi, Anuradha,

Yes, your child will be considered local if she completes 10+2 from Hyderabad. By local, I mean any other child who has done education till 12th in India. If you are talking about local in sense of Domicile then you would have to get the domicile certificate issued by the state authorities.

Hope that helps.....
