Hi, My family income is less than 8 lacs pa and we do not possess any agriculture property and also have no flat or property exceeding 1000 sq ft. However my grandmother possess the residential property. My family is living with her. My grandmother is having 1 son and 3 daughters. EWS eligibility?
Hello Aspirant,
EWS reservation benefit is only given to general category students. And regarding the eligibility criteria, as you have already mentioned, your annual family income should be less than 8 lakhs, agricultural land should be less than 5 acres, residential flat should be less than 1000 sq.ft and finally the residential plot should be less than 100/200 sq.yards. Any property owned by your relatives ,ancestors or extended family will not come under your family assests, only assests owned by your parents will come under consideration so yes you are eligible for EWS benefit if you satisfy the above mentioned requirements.
All the best
So, my father has to give an affidavit stating that he is not having any property and my family is living with my grandmother. Does my father has to submit the address proof i.e. electricity bill or house tax receipt which is in the name of my grandmother.
Please let me know my grandmother property paper is to be submitted to the concerned office or not for the issuance of EWS certificate.
Best Regards.
