Congratulation to your son for obtaining such a good rank in jee main. He will get mechanical engineering, electrical engineering  in his home state NIT if he is lying under general category otherwise he will get electronic and communication engineering.

Hey there,

Your son will get some of the good colleges through JEE mains. Your son can get NIT Kurukshetra, JSR, Durgapur, Etc. with branches like chemical, mechanical, CSE, electrical engineering etc. Just make sure you apply for the right college in the Joosaa counselling.
