With having the range of approx 99k you won't be able to take the admission in Mechanical department at any of the campuses of VIT since it is a wider range so it will be  hard for you to take that, so if you are that much interested to get into the VIT then you can also go via Management seats as well since VIT is a private institutions it do have the management quota but make in mind that the fee structure will be higher as compared to the normal fee structure.
