For being eligible for this porgramme, you should have a Master's degree in Geography from any University with atleast 55% aggregate. It is 55% for General Category and 50% for OBC/SC/ST. If you are either Sponsored or UGC-JRF/NET, ICMR-NET, ICAR-NET, DBT-JRF, DST-WS, GATE ,GPAT, SLET Candidate then you are exempted from taking the entrance exam. The entrance exam question paper has 2 parts. Part 1 contains 30 Objective type questions testing your research aptitude and methodology.
