Hi,
JAM is an entrance exam for admissions to the PG programmes in science across IITs, NITs and IISc Bangalore. Although it is competitive yet it can be cracked by aspirants like you with a proper strategy and good preparation.
Know the syllabus well : You must know the topics to be covered in the exam in order to completely prepare for it.
Know the books : The graduation books are good enough but it has been commonly observed that books available for the entrance exams like JAM aid students in preparing well for the topics.
Prepare a schedule : Make a schedule by jotting down the important topics to be covered within a defined time-frame. Further sticking to the time table for JAM preparation will also help you in giving sufficient time to ‘the much needed subjects’ and also skip those which may not need much time.
Practice JAM sample papers : You must put your knowledge to test with the help of JAM sample papers, question papers of the previous years and practice sets readily available in the public domain. These will also make you familiar with the exam pattern, frequently asked questions and much more.
Mock Tests : The online mock tests of JAM will help you in experiencing the actual test and get you ready to face the online exam with no mounting pressure.
Last but not the least, exercise, eat healthy and relax. Spend some time with family and friends to rejuvenate and feel fresh.
All the best!
