As the cutoff for general category for eamcet is 45 and you have got 42 so you have not been qualified for the exam so you couldn't get free seat. But you could try for engineering colleges for scholarships which would reduce you fees, you have not been qualified for Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University. If you want to have free seat you must take drop so that you could clear the exam next time and get admission. This exam is applicable only for Telgana state only. So this exam is not enough for seeking admission in other colleges moreover. You should have given JEE exam which is applicable all over the country, which judges the potential for engineering. Also there are other colleges in the country which also considers 12th boards results for admissions, you could also get scholarship on the basis of your 12th results. So your eamcet exams result could give you desired seat. But you should try other colleges also on scholarship basis and college doesn't matter thing that matter is you interest and goals. Have a straight forward goals never let distractions distruct your aim. Be focused.
