ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Before applying for any program, candidates are suggested to check the eligibility criteria. For UG courses, applicants should have passed class 12 in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks. For PG courses, candidates having a graduate degree in relevant field with required marks are eligible to apply. Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. courses should have a master’s degree.

For an internal student it is very easy to crack entrance exams. Internal students cut off goes much lower than external student. So you should feel blessed that you are internal. Amu 1st give prefrence to its students.

Internal students cut off in any entrance exam usually goes 25 to 30. But it also differ according to the dufficulty level of the paper,seats available.and the cut off of external students. If external students works better than internal students . Then they would be selected 1st.

Its not that if you are internal and you have done nothing in your exam and you have scored say 15 marks in total and external students cut off is 70+ then you may not be selected.

AMU 2019 Cut Off is the minimum marks candidates have to score in the exam required for getting admission into UG & PG courses in the University. The University releases the cut-off list after the result declaration through online mode.

The Cut-Off marks will depend on the various factors such as total number of candidates appeared in the entrance exam, total number of candidates qualified the exam, the difficulty level of exam, the number of seats, etc.

After the releasing of the cut-off, the AMU 2019 merit list will be prepared. The University will prepare the merit list on the basis of the AMU Cut-Off 2019 for each course.

Candidates have to obtain the qualifying marks in the examination. Candidates can check the result in the month of May 2019. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Counselling Process.

AMU 2019 Counselling

On the basis of merit list, students will be able to participate in the counselling process. Counselling will be started in the month of July 2019. Counselling will be conducted through offline mode.

During the counselling process, candidates have to bring required documents original documents along with their photocopies.

Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of preferences filled by candidates, rank, category and availability of seats in colleges.
