hi Sir I need to know about nit college fees structure for SC cast students
Dear Student,
Sc/St category students are don't need to pay tuition fees.They have to pay hostel fees,mess fees,library fees or other miscellaneous charges.The hostel fee varies from institute to institute.So You have to pay 10–12k each semester along with mess fees of 25–28k per semester.You can check below the fees structure of various NIT's

The total fees of a NIT is almost Rs 1,20,000 for a year. But the SC/ST category are exempted from paying tution fees so they have to pay only other fees depending on the institute. So the SC/ST category have to nearly pay 8k-10k in a year which includes admission fee, development fee, security deposit, library fee, transport facility charge.

There is no need to pay any tution fees for SC cast students in NIT. however you have to pay for Admission fee, Development fee, Security Deposit, library fee, IT system fee, Transport facility charge, Medical facility charge, Sport/Gym fee, hostel fee, light and water charge, cable tv fee, Mess fee, Transcript fee etc.
