Hi Sir, my name is SUSHMITA DAS, I have secured 55% in senior secondary and 43% in B.A. Am I eligible for applying CTET 2018 under OBC?
Sir I have 55% in senior secondary. If i go for Diploma in elementary education and secure good score. Will I be able to apply for the same, under OBC category???

For CTET, you need have atleast 50% in Graduation But your Graduation score is quite low.
Following is the CTET Eligibility Criteria-
Educational Qualification : Candidates who want to appear for CTET 2018 exam have to fulfill certain eligibility requirements as given below:
For Primary level (I to V): Candidates should have passed with at least 50% in senior secondary and passed or appearing in the last year of two year diploma/ four year bachelor degree.
or
45% in senior secondary and appearing or passed in two-year diploma as according to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) regulations.
or
As per the new eligibility criteria, candidates who have scored a minimum of 50% in graduation and have a B.Ed degree can also apply for CTET 2018 paper - I.
For Elementary level (VI to VIII) : Candidates must be graduated with at least 50% and appeared or passed in B.Ed./2-year diploma/2-year diploma as prescribed by NCTE.
