First of all, dont panic. As far as I know, there will not be any problem provided that at the time of counselling you could prove that your mother is actually the same person as mentioned in the records. Also, I personally do not recall any cases wher a student was denied permission because of mistake in either of the parent's names. As long s you can prove your identity there will not be a problem in the counselling.
