As per the eligibility norms of LAWCET if, you are a native of Andhra Pradesh or any of your parents have a domicile of Andhra Pradesh then you are eligible to apply for the exam.
LAWCET or AP LAWCET is conducted by Andhra Pradesh Government for admission into various LLB and LLM courses across various LAW colleges.
The eligibility norms for the examination are set by APSCHE. Before applying, check the standards mentioned below:
Nationality:
1. Candidates belonging to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
2. Candidates whose parents have studied in Andhra Pradesh or any one parent is a domicile of AP.
Educational Qualification for LLB (3 years)
1. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any discipline
2. The candidate should have a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam (40% for SC/ST candidates)
3. Candidates those who are in final year are also eligible to apply for AP LAWCET
Educational Qualification for LLB (5 years)
1. The candidate should be an Intermediate graduate or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
2. The candidate should have a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam (It is 40% for SC/ST candidates).
3. Candidates in Final year are also eligible to apply for the law examination
AP LAWCET Age Limit
There is no prescribed upper age limit for AP LAWCET 2019.
The minimum age to apply for the exam is 21 years.
