Hi sir/ma'm. I might get anaesthesia in Jipmer (Jan sessn). I wanted to do Paedia/Opht always. Should I settle for anes or write may exams.
I would say you to join the subject you like that’s Paedia or Optha. One of my senior got AIR 6 in AIIMS and joined Medicine in AIIMS Delhi but he didn’t kind of like it. His passion was always towards Surgery so he left Delhi and prepared for a year and next year came back to his Parent institution AIIMS BBSR to join Surgery. I see him much happy and satisfied and believe he shall like that for the rest of his life.
Its important to do what you like, because if you don’t like it you are at high risk to succumb to academic, mental pressure leading to depression. And at a institute like JIPMER and AIIMS where patient load is so high, without mind and soul you cannot stretch your limits.
