The infrastructure is very good. There is wifi facility in the department. The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and qualified. They department conducts seminar every Saturday, which is given by a delegate or a student itself. There are scholarships available for students belonging to reserved categories.
As far as placements are concerned, according to the reviews of students, there were not many placements in the department biotechnology.

Placements: The placements are excellent since it was one of the oldest universities in India. Placement drives are conducted by all the MNC companies yearly. A candidate cannot expect High profile companies or any MNC core companies, only the most eligible will get the chance
Infrastructure: all the buildings are old and resemble a school, since it is one of the oldest university in India. There are excellent classrooms. Wi-Fi is available. A world-class library is available. Medical facilities are available. Mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering people, new labs have started with class equipment.
Faculty: The course curriculum is old but it has excellent standards, and the teaching is also good. Exam standards are too high. preference towards standard textbooks and approach.

Andra University for MTech Biotechnology is the good option it is one of the best colleges.
Placements: The placements are excellent since it was one of the oldest universities in India, about 85 to 90 percentage of the students get placed every year. The companies are looking forward to conduct placement drives. The highest package is about 10 lakhs per annum, and the lowest is about 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The job roles offered to the student is as per the specialization of the student. The companies such IBM, Infosys, TCS etc, visit the campus every year.
Infrastructure: The campus is located in the heart of the city. Even though the buildings are little old, they are very well maintained. The classrooms are very spacious and kept neat and tidy always. The central library is huge. The campus has cricket/football grounds, basketball courts and many other indoor game facilities. The quality of the food in the canteen is quite good and quite affordable as one could get a full meal for just 50 rupees.
Faculty: The faculty here is very good and always eager to get to know the problems that are being faced by the students and how to tackle those problems. The faculty is very knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The curriculum of Andhra University is quite efficient. Many industry experts visit this campus to interact with students, so the students could get the industry exposure.

I would personally recommend you that until and unless you have only one choice left with this college ,you should not go with this college.
As in general biotechnology in india has very less scope ,so atleast graduation you should do from a decent place. You should go with vit vellore or from mnit allahabad . These colleges are good with this branch.
