Hi,Shruti

Yes LSAT is the only way through which you can apply for LLM in abroad.

LSAT - is an integral part of the law school admission process in the United States, Canada, and a growing number of other countries. It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use for the JD(Jury doctor) program.

LSAT exam is conducted in two formats- One LSAT-global and other is LSAT-India . Although there is no difference as such in the concepts. Former is administrated by LSAC, mainly for those who wish to do it in USA and Canada. While the later one for exclusively for Indian universities as entrance to get admission.

The only difference between both of the exam is - in LSAT- India there is no section or AWA writing while its there for LSAT global.

If you wish to prepare for the exam , you can do it in india. And while applying for the exam visit to the LSAC sites and apply. Your exam will be held Indian given centers by LSAC.

LSAT Exam Format

The test consists of five 35-minute sections of multiple-choice questions. Four of the five sections contribute to the test taker's score. The un-scored section, commonly referred to as the variable section, typically is used to pretest new test questions or to pre-equate new test forms. The placement of this section will vary. A 35-minute writing sample is administered at the end of the test. LSAC does not score the writing sample, but copies of the writing sample are sent to all law schools to which a student apply.
