Biotechnology and food technology both are good courses because the demand in these subjects are growing in a rapid manner. Due to high demand in the field of packaging, food preservations, etc have a very high demand.
Its very difficult to say which is better but you know that food technology is the subset of biotechnology. Biotechnology deals with the all prospectus of food, animal,plant biology and give you increase the range of scope whereas food technology delas with the technology releted to food only.
If you are looking for your course to be a researchoriented then you can opt for biotechnology as it has high demand in both sector in research as well as food industry. But if you want yourself to be a job oriented then you should opt for food technology.
