This is a fact that the stopwatch has started for JEE 2018 and it can be understood that there is not much time left for this examination. Considering the fact that throughout the country, lakhs of aspirants aim to perform their level best in this examination as JEE Main is the breeding ground for all the successful Engineers. If the candidate fails to overcome the first hurdle of JEE Main, then he or she will not be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced examination. Here you will find a complete list of preparation plan.

The time has begun: The most difficult resource is time as one cannot get it back once it is gone. Considering the fact that only one month is left, one needs to track his or her preparation of every single second to ensure that there is no wastage of time. These 30 days are extremely vital for every candidate who has registered for JEE MAIN 2018 and he or she needs to secure satisfactory marks in the same.

How to uti lize these 30 days? Preparation Plan

Since the time is less, one needs to figure out a proper plan which will ensure a better revision and preparation for him or her. As we all know, JEE Main paper 1 consists of multiple questions from three subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The first and foremost thing which one should opt for an enhanced preparation in these three subjects. The following tips may assist one to boost up their confidence in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics respectively:

Score well in Mathematics: Mathematics is an extremely easy subject for those who have a grip on it. For those who consider themselves to be weak in Mathematics, it is important for them to practice a number of times as only practice in this subject can help in improvisation. However, one needs to remember that the examination is MCQ-based and he or she will be provided with a limited number of sheets to perform rough work, this is why one needs to know the shortcut approach towards the sum which will also save the time. The candidates need to practice important sums from every module and after that, they need to opt for the PREVIOUS YEAR SAMPLE PAPER to get an idea about the pattern of the probable questions.

Score well in Chemistry: For subjects like Chemistry, there is no substitute for NCERT books. This is because NCERT books contain detailed information on every chapter of this subject and if a candidate follows this book, he or she can get an idea of how to approach the questions as NCERT books emphasize on the fundamental concepts. It is recommended that one should practice an ample number of questions to gain confidence in the content.

Score well in Physics: Physics is such a subject in which one needs to understand the basic concepts as well as implement them in the best way possible. NCERT textbooks are the ideal ones which can help a candidate to grasp the concepts in the simplest manner possible, apart from this, one can also rely on the books of H.C VERMA to increase the difficulty level. In case of Physics, it is important to solve a bulk of questions as the candidate will have an idea of how to approach and solve the questions in a limited amount of time.

Does only subject-wise preparation help?

Subject-wise preparation is a major section which should not be overlooked but it is also necessary to concentrate on the minute details which are extremely important from an examination point of view. The following tips can help any individual to ensure that his or her last one-month preparation is up-to-the mark:

Revision: Revision is the most important and renowned tip which should never be ignored. Considering the fact that the candidate has done some preparation over the past few months, he or she needs to focus on the revision of the same. This is because during revision, a candidate may face a number of difficulties and it is better to experience them beforehand so that one can solve them before the examination. It is not feasible to study a completely alien module on the eleventh-hour, rather one should spend that time for the purpose of revision.

S olve on your own: It is observed that several candidates tend to consult the hint or the answers before even trying to solve the problem. This is because they do not have enough confidence in their knowledge, but this should be avoided during the last month. One needs to solve each and every question on his or her own so that even if there is an unknown question, he or she can deal with it.

Do not compare with others: One needs to compare his or her present performance with the past performance rather than comparing it with the other students. Comparing with others will lead to the inclusion of negativity which is not feasible in the last 30 days of preparation.

Stay healthy and focused: It can be understood that one should devote more than 12 hours to study but this does not mean that they will hamper their health and lifestyle. Adequate sleep is needed every day which will ensure the proper functioning of the brain and apart from this, one should also eat nutritious food which will provide the energy to concentrate and grasp more.

30 days time is not less if a candidate plans it in the most appropriate way possible. A candidate should keep in mind that he or she should only answer the questions for which he or she is confident about as incorrect questions will lead to the reduction of marks which is not recommended. Time management is also an important factor which one can manage, if he or she has done enough revision. Apart from this, one should write the important formula or tricks to solve difficult questions in a notebook for ready reference and such resources have proved to be extremely helpful.

ALL THE BEST
