IIIT Kotayam had it's first batch started in 2015 and this was the first year when btech students got placed. Various companies visited IIIT Kotayam for recruitment like Reliance Jio, L&T, Nissan, IISc Bangalore and many other startups visited the college.
One of the best recruiter was Nissan whixh offered starting packages from 6 lakhs to 10lakhs.
