Hii I am persuing my Bsc this time ,I wanted to apply for GATE in chemistry subject I wanted to know what is the paper patter means which papers do i need to choose and how what is the paper 1&2 in chemistry please give me the proper details ๐๐๐๐

Hi Iram,
The Gate for Chemistry subject is a 180 minute i.e. 3 hour duration paper where number of questions asked are 65 and the total marks is 100 . Following are some details regarding the exam:
- Question Types: Multiple Choice Questions ( MCQs ) and Numerical Answer Type Questions ( NAT )
- Sections: 2 sections - General Aptitude Section consisting of 10 questions and Chemistry Section consisting 55 questions.
- Marking Scheme: Questions will be of 1 and 2 marks. Negative marking is also there which will cost 1/3 marks.
