I would like to tell you NCERT is most important but remember NCERT is not sufficient. Because the paper is made by CBSE and their syllabus is NCERT. But some questions Come other than the NCERT. By the studying NCERT thoroughly from cover to cover you can surely get 280 to 300 marks But If you want to get a medical seat in a reputed govt college then You need to score 330 + in biology. So to score 330+ you need to prefer some reference book. Also to score this much you need to solve lots of MCQs and take mock tests regularly. Then definitely you will be able to score at least 330+ marks. Hope this helps.
Most of the questions in NEET exam in chemistry are from the NCERT syllabus and if you go through it thoroughly then most of the questions you will realise that are simple and can be answered from your knowledge of NCERT but the fact is that most of the students does not give proper attention to each and every line of NCERT and question can come from any part and letter you will realise that most of the questions were directly from NCERT so when you read NCERT cover each and every line and try to revise it properly so that you don't miss a single question which come from NCERT if you just cover NCERT then it will be sufficient to score good marks but the condition is that you must go through it thoroughly.
