I'm sorry to tell the chances are low for you to get a government seat for MBBS even through state councelling with your reservation. According to previous year's cutoff, the closing marks was 487 in Telangana state counseling.

Anyways you could get a seat in private colleges through management. Also there are chances for you to get a government seat for alternate courses like BAMS, BVSC, BHMS etc.

BAMS or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is an ayurveda traditional healing art based undergraduate medical programme in India. BAMS course provides complete knowledge about 'Ashtanga Ayurveda' along with scientific advances in modern medicine along with extensive practical training.

BVSC or Bachelor of Veterinary Science, is an undergraduate course of 5 years in the field of veterinary science that aims to impart the knowledge required for nourishment, treatment, and breeding of animals.

BHMS or Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery(BHMS) is an academic degree course at the bachelor’s level, covering knowledge regarding the homeopathic medical system. The duration of this course generally varies from 4 to 5 years, and also bears internship facilities of 1 year.

In NEET UG 2020, the cut off for a Government Medical College in Telengana under 85% State Quota and EWS Category was 487 . Private colleges are equally good and some are even better than Government Medical Colleges. So if you can afford for the fees, you can definitely take up a seat in a Private College. But if you want a Govt Seat, 475 is definitely a good score. With proper strategy, coaching and mock tests you can easily improve your score by 100-150 (minimum) in NEET UG 2022. You must target for 600+ if you are repeating. And remember - "Better to drop a year than to drop your dream."

You can easily get a MBBS  seat in Telangana under general EWS category with state domicile with your neet scores. As the cut-off marks of neet 2021 for getting a seat in Telangana MBBS institute is between 134 and 701 for the general category. Go for it!!

Hope you are doing well .See,as of now it's very difficult to predict the exact cut-offs as they keep changing every year depending on various factors like no. of students appeared, difficulty level of the question paper ,seat matrix and overall performance of the students . But we can have an idea of your probability of getting selected into your desired medical college based on previous year's cutoff scores and ranks through State quota .

With a score of 475,chances of getting a government medical seat in Telengana seem thin if we go by state cutoffs in Telengana post NEET-2020 because cutoffs this year are expected to be somewhat similar or may increase marginally as compared to 2020 cutoffs. The cutoff score for a government medical seat for a local candidate having an EWS category 487 with a closing AIR of 97,900 and for a non-local EWS candidate,it was 481 with a closing AIR of 102411.

You are still advised to undergo the Counselling process properly till the last round.
