hii, i want details of JEE and marking system and eligibility criteria

The basic criteria is your percentage should be 75% or above or you should be there in top 20 percentile if you wish to get admission in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs. Also, if you talk about paper pattern then the total marks would be 360 as 30 questions will be asked from each subject. Objective Type Questions will be there and each question will have four options, out of which only one will be correct. Each question will carry 4 marks 1 mark will deducted for every wrong attempt if no response is indicated, no marks will be deducted.

JEE Main exam Pattern

You can check the eligibility criteria below-

-Students who are born on or after October 1, 1993 are eligible to apply.

-Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), should have been born on or after October 1, 1988. Candidates of these categories have been given a relaxation of 5 years

-You should have passed 12th class or qualifying exam in 2016 or 2017.

-Students, who are appearing in class 12th or qualifying exam in 2018 can also apply.

-For admissions to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in the class 12th exam conducted by the respective boards. For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12th.

-A JEE Main aspirant can avail 3 attempts for the national level undergraduate engineering entrance exam.

JEE Main 2018 will have Paper I and Paper II. Candidates can take either of the two or both the papers. Paper I is for B.Tech while Paper II is held for admissions to B.Arch programme. The test has objective type or multiple choice questions (MCQs).

Total marks for JEE Main 2018 paper are 360 against total 90 questions. This means that each question carries a weightage of 4 marks. Correct answers will fetch 4 marks each, while each incorrect answer carries negative marking (-1 or 1/4th marks will be deducted).

Eligibility Criteria:

You should have minimum 75% as a general category & 65% as a reserved category or you should be in top 20 percentile to get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs.
