If the rank you have mentioned above is CRL then a rank of 24046 will give you a category rank close to 8000 which is sufficient for you to get into second tier NITs like NIT Mizoram,NIT Srinagar,etc.But IIIT like IIIT Raichur, IIIT Bhalaghar,etc.may give you admission.But if the rank you have given is the category rank it would be quite difficult for you to get into NITs or IIITs.So hope I have cleared your query.Best of luck.
