Open Option entry Portal and login to your Account on the day specified by KEA for Option Entry.

Make a list of colleges and courses that you are interested in.Select and enter option number for each college; course.

Don't forget, to give higher priority for good/interested college/course.

Save the Options entry list and log out. You can make changes whenever u wish but before the last date specified by KEA/KCET.

5. Initially, there will mock allotment (Mock Round/Trial Round) for your practice to use the portal and college prediction.

6.Actual Round

Then, there will be 3 rounds of seat allotment in KCET

1.First Round

2.Second Round

3.Second Extended Round

7.Kcet seat allotment results

Seat allotment procedure is based on KCET Rank and College Option entry list and your priority to colleges.

After the 1st round(any round) results, you will be given 4 options as Follows:

Option 1: Satisfied with the allotted result and ready to take admission I allotted college.

Option 2: Retain the allotted seat and go for next round (I like the allotted seat but still go for next round for still better colleges as per my option entry list )

Option 3: Reject the allotted seat and go for next round(not interested with allotted seat/college, try for other colleges in my option entry list in next round)

Option 4: Not interested in KCET/Quit(Eg. If interested to join for BSc./BCA/any other non CET courses or got better college seat in IIT/JEE or COMEDK)

If the seat is not allotted in First round (OR) if you are not satisfied with allotted seat, then you can go for next round.

8.Post Allotment

If you are happy with allotted seat, select option 1 and take a printout of KCET fees challan and pay the KCET amount to the bank within a specified date.

After the process, Download Admission Order from KCET Option entry portal and go to allotted college within specified date/last date for admission.

9.You can give feedback related to college admission and fees structure after completion of your admission.

10. Keep all the documents original + attested photocopies for future use.

Important Documents :

1.SSLC/PUC marks card

2.KCET application form/Hall ticket

3.Admission Order

4.TC/Study Certificate

5.Caste- Income Certificate

All the best : )
