• After Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, if you wish, you can opt for short term certificate

courses like CNC Training, CAD/CAM Training, Catia, and Unigraphics etc.

• You can even go for a proper btech degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.

There are post graduate diploma courses that you can do like Machine Maintenance, Product

and Tool Design, Mechanical Safety Engineering, and Applied Mechanics etc.

• Top institutes would be the IITs , BITS , NIT for this course .

Some other good options would be National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru , VIT , SRM          Chennai etc.

• If you want to pursue a job, after completing mechanical diploma, you can go for  junior

level posts in private or government sector.

• You can also try for positions like Technician, Supervisor, Junior Engineer, Clerk etc. in the government sector.

• Taking various entrance exams for private and centralized banks as well as SBI

and RBI is also a very good option.

• Based on the above you can decide what you are most interested in.
