Hi Rakshana,
You can apply for 5 year integrated programme but this will take your additional 2 years. I suggest you apply for LLB programme in some other institute.
Hello Rakshana,
Since you are interested to sit for CLAT, let me first tell you the eligibility criteria for CLAT.
As per the revised standards, There is no upper age limit to CLAT 2019.
The academic qualification is -
1. For Unreserved /OBC /Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories – A minimum of 45% marks required in 12th.
2. For SC/ST Category – A minimum of 40% marks required in 12th.
So, since there is no upper age limit and given that you have the minimum eligible marks in 10 + 2 you will be eligible to sit for CLAT.
Another exam that admission gives entry into the five-year integrated law programme is by MH CET -
The eligibility for this exam is as follows -
- You have to secure a minimum of 45 percent of the total marks in the aggregate of the subjects. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST) of Maharashtra state need to score 40% as there is 5% relaxation for them.
- There is no age bar for the law aspirants appearing in MH CET Law 2019.
For 3-year law program, the eligibility is as follows -
- A graduation degree in any subject issued by any university or college recognized by UGC and following a 10+2+3 education pattern is a must to appear in MH CET Law for three-year law programme.
- Candidates need to secure a minimum of 45 percent in the aggregate of the subjects, and 40 percent for those belonging to SC/ST categories of the Maharashtra state.
Good luck!
You can apply for CLAT Entrance Exam, There is no any upper age limit but CLAT is the Entrance Exam for Five Years Integrated Law programme which you can apply after 10+2, It is not for three years law programme. As you told, If you have completed your Graduation then I would suggest you to apply for three years Law programme. There are many universities offer this programme, Some of the top Universities you can prefer Faculty of Law Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University etc. As per the eligibility you should be Graduate with minimum 50% as a General Category & 45% as a reserved category.
Good Luck!
Hey.
Yes, you are eligible for applying to CLAT as there is no upper age limit. Also, you would require a minimum of 45% marks in your 12th boards in order to be eligible if you belong to the general category. By CLAT you will be able to take admission in 5 year Integrated law course thay combines an undergrad degree with law.
But you can also pursue law by first completing your Bsc degree and then pursuing a 3 year law degree which will help you to save a year as you are already in 2nd yeat Bsc.
Best of luck.
Best of luck
