There are 300 seats for the course of LLB in Panjab University in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres.
So considering the fact that your rank in the new merit list after combing both entrance rank and your graduation marks is 299 which is quite good, so your chances seem fair. There are less chances for Chandigarh campus in the first counselling itself if you belong to the general category. You might have a chances in the subsequent counsellings. But chances in other regional centres are good.
