To pursue engineering course /b.tech courses after diploma, you have to give an entrance name diploma to degree.
eligibility criteria for jee mains are
- Any student who has passed the 12th class or its equivalent exam in the year 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 can apply for the entrance exam. Students can appear in the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years. The entrance test will be conducted four times a year.

Every aspirant has to go through the proper selection process to get into the engineering institutes through JEE Mains in India.
A candidate can be a 12th pass or a diploma holder, he/she has to give JEE Main and then JEE Advanced (if qualified) to secure a seat in IIT.
Eligibility Criteria for JEE Mains:
- You should be an Indian citizen to apply for JEE Main. But foreign nationals or NRIs can also apply.
- You must have attended and qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- In 12th/equivalent examination, you must have taken and passed in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with an aggregate of 75% or 65% if you are an SC/ST candidate.
- Also, candidates should have appeared for at least 5 subject papers for their 12th/equivalent examination
- An aspirant who appears for 12th/equivalent class examination in the same year they are planning to take the JEE Main is also eligible.
- A diploma holder has to take JEE Main to be eligible for JEE Advanced.
