You can appear for JEE mains exam with that score as well as to appear for the examination there is no such kind of percentage criteria but you are not Eligible for Admissions to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs.

You can give JEE mains exams, but to stand a chance to get admission in IITs,NITs and CFTIs you need to secure atleast 75% aggregate in class 12, or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12thclass exam conducted by the respective board, to qualify for admissions.
