Yeah definitely having a degree in Mechatronics engineering placed you apart from all other in scope as well in job profile too . This branch has a combination of various branches like Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunications and Computer engineering etc and coming to point of placement in this branch then yes it has a wider sector of companies and basically your placement depends upon your college and more importantly your command in this particular area that decides your placement.
