An average studying person can surely crack jee main with good foundation in basics of topics and having good knowledge about the subject.Please even refer to 11 and 12th class NCERT textbooks as a lot of direct questions come from these Textbooks. Solve previous year question papers,refer to study materials and videos available on internet.Plan accordingly and stay positive.

Yes,Of course you can crack JEE Mains through self study.

JEE Mains is all about checking your basic concepts and their application.

There will be only three categories of Questions-

1. Direct Theory-Based (where your memory will fetch you marks) - Most of the questions are from Chemistry and Physics.
2. Application-based on formulas. Short Questions where you just need to understand the question and use a few formulas directly.
3. Complete Analysis of a problem and by using multiple concepts to fetch the solution.

These Short Notes cover more than 90% of the JEE Mains syllabus.

• Select the Chapter.
• Go through the NCERT or these One Page Short Notes several times till you understand it.
• Memorise it. The formulas, the definitions, the processes.
• And then Attempting the Solved previous Year Questions for understanding the procedure to solve a different kind of Questions.
• Again going through the Notes for Brush Up.
• And Finally Practising the Unsolved Previous Year Questions.

Start your day with a clear and achievable goal in your mind, plan accordingly and implement your plan religiously. We need a sense of discipline to stick to our plans and to keep up with them.

Choose what you have to read and what not and accordingly make a list and collect those sources in the very beginning.
