Basically, there are two ways of getting a domicile certificate-

First is, You can obtain the certificate from Common Service Centres that are opened by the government to help the public in getting their documents and other certificates.

Another is you need to approach the tehsil/Municipality/district Magisterate, who would help you in getting your certificate.

They just need some of your documents (photo,adhar card, pan card/voter id, etc) for the approval and generating your Domicile Certificate.

• ration card
• PAN card
• House Electricity bill
• Aadhar card
• House tax/Water tax

you have to go to your city authority office (kachari) for making domicile certificate

you have to carry your identity proof and your passport size photo
